Q: Can this crimp on short side of tee press fittings of each size? Is it impossible, or possible with distortion?
A: We have improved our design to work with T fitting, now the tool can crimp central side of the T type fitting, and it can crimp short leg of T fitting with ease.
Q: Can I get bigger adpts for lets say 11/4”-2” copper?
A: Our tool can only work up to 1".For 2"-11/4" copper pipe, I suggest you to use electric crimping tool with it.
Q: Can this tool be used for hvac applications?
A: Yes.
Q: Can you get heads for 1/4" and 3/8" fittings?
A: Sorry, this tool kit only have 1/2,3/4,1" jaw set now.
Q: We use the Viega Fittinga for 1/2 black pipe. Will this work as back up?
A: Yes.
Q: What is the distance between the center of the die and the very tip (rounded chrome part) of the tool? I want to crimp near a wall.
A: It is around 3.5cm/1.4 inch.
Q: Is this tool compatible with Apollo or Elkhart fittings?
A: Yes, the tool can work with Apollo or Elkhart fitting. If you are not sure, please contact us for confirmation.
Q: Does it crimp vinegar stainless crimp rings?
A: This tool is for copper fittings.
Q: What pressure is this rated for?
A: The pressure of this tool is 5T.
Q: If this tool comes adjusted from factory what are the two little dials used for with the little numbers stamped on them?
A: Yes, it is. You can adjust the pressure through two little dials after long time using.
